I actually this offense will be at its best with Dak throwing 35+ times and rushing only a dozen times, which I like Rico Dowdle at that number. If we’re way ahead zeke is still good for pounding the ball, as well as red zone 1 yard runs. This league is a pass first league, and Dak has LED the league in points or yards EVERY year since 2019. Not a top 5 offense, number one. Pass the ball with Dak and improve your defense. Then just pray you won’t inexplicably suck in the playoffs. Will probably still happen, so just enjoy a great regular season

This why our team is a big joke. We never resign players that can actually help the team IE gilmore. But we always resign bad players that dont produce gallup 🤦🏽‍♂️

For coaching wise, if going to the college ranks, outside of Deion (yes Dallas would be praised for it, but I’m not sure whether Deion is ready or has any desire to leave college football), but a dark horse from college would be Matt Campbell from Iowa State (his teams are mostly competitive in spite of the talent deficit, and he might prefer an NFL job over fighting for NIL dollars and recruits who can back out after only a few games). For Pros, I have a long list. 1. Shane Waldron, OC for the Bears. He’s gotten reasonable production out of Geno Smith and if Caleb Williams has a good to great rookie season, he’ll be considered the hot candidate. He could even be the Bears next head coach of the offense does well and the Bears have a losing record, causing Chicago to cut bait with Matt Eberflus. 2. Ben Johnson, OC for Detroit. He’s had interest (could’ve been the Commanders new HC, but Dallas could be a more enviable destination) from other teams, and he’s done a good job in spite of a lack of blue chippers at the skill positions. Another deep playoff run for Detroit could get him better HC spots. 3. Brian Flores, DC for Minnesota. Last year for the most part Flores made chicken cordon bleu from chicken scratch for Minnesota’s defense. He’s considered innovative for his defensive prowess, was kinda unceremoniously fired from Miami, and if Zimmer’s scheme doesn’t mesh well or clashes with the current defenders on the roster, Zimmer could be 1 and done. Flores would give them the Rooney Rule HC, and it would just be a matter of hiring a just as innovative OC for Dak or whomever is QB for Dallas next season. 4. Joe Brady, OC for Buffalo. He has college (LSU) and NFL experience (New Orleans), and managed to turn Josh Allen into a less turnover prone risk taker while still getting a quality offense for Buffalo last season. He would definitely need an experienced DC to allow him to focus just on offense and the team, but he would be a cheap option and one who’s worked with Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase, Garrett Wilson, Justin Jefferson, Alvin Kamara and others. 4. Anthony Weaver, DC for Miami. This would be a meteoric rise considering he was a D-Line coach just last year with Baltimore. But he could be the next HC like Demeco Ryans (yes it’s a reach, but about the closest comparison) who can turn multiple schemes into success for multiple defenses. He again would fulfill the Rooney Rule, also has played in the NFL (so would definitely get the attention of D-Linemen on the team), and just need a quality offense to help. 6. Bob Slowik, OC for Houston. He managed to get CJ Stroud to top 10 quarterback in his rookie year, in spite of multiple injuries to the o-line, his #2 receiver and lackluster help from the run game. Another top 10 offense and expectations that Houston could be a giant killer to the Ravens and Chiefs could make him a more desirable candidate from the offensive side of the ball over Waldron and Johnson. 7. Jim Bob Cooter, OC for Indianapolis. He had stretches of success with Detroit and with Indy getting Gardner Minshew looking decent. He’s more of an old school OC, so Dallas would definitely need to improve the run game, but he could be a dark horse candidate where most of the top ones are gone. 8. Steve Spagnoulo, DC for Kansas City. He’s made his defense one of the best with mostly young players, has multiple rings with the Chiefs, has head coaching experience, and is seen as more innovative than old school. He could help Dallas go cheap on the defense to allow for multiple expensive additions to the offense to keep it elite, and just needs a quality OC. 9. Bill Belicheck. He could be short term and hates meddling. However, he’s more someone who would eliminate penalties and help the defense. As long as offensive coordinator and GM roles are outside of his per view, he could do a good job as a head coach only role.

Just found out that Denzel daxon who is on the cowboys is from the Bahamas and is a roster exemption that does not count as one of the 90 man roster, so the cowboys could have 91 players on roster. Do not know if it will help.

Bring in Kamara, bring back Zeke, trade for this guy from the senior citizens nursing home, ect., ect., ect. WTF is up with everyone always linking all the Geriatric washed up has been players to the Cowboys? Jerry and cap boy have been using this approach for almost 3 decades now and the results have been 🤮🤮🤮 at best so far. Conventional wisdom should be that if it hasn't worked in almost 3 decades then its probably not a good process so you probably should use a different approach. Just saying 😌
